David J. Patin Jr. is a New Orleans native who grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. After attending high school in Missouri, he moved back to Louisiana to attend Xavier University of Louisiana and Southern University Law Center. David has been practicing law for almost seven (7) years. He has been a law clerk for five (5) judges during his tenure as a law clerk. He has also worked as an Assistant City Attorney in the litigation department for over (four) 4 years where he defended the City of New Orleans in various lawsuits including property, traffic, personal injury, contractual obligations, code enforcement, civil service, and other matters. David then worked for an insurance defense firm for almost two (2) years where he represented and defended several insurance companies against property and personal injury disputes. For the past year David has successfully represented plaintiffs in various matters including, but not limited to, automobile accidents, premise liability, slip and falls, property damage, contractual obligations, succession and estate planning, collections, entertainment law, and sports law. In his free time, David likes to work out, hang out with family and friends, and create social media videos to discuss the legal implications of various popular social media content.
