Kathleen D. Lambert is a native of south Louisiana and a 1989 graduate of the LSU-Herbert Law Center. She earned a diploma in International Legal Studies from UOP's McGeorge School of Law, and worked for the firm of Simpson & Marwick, in Edinburgh, Scotland, before joining Ms. Stephenson as an associate and later as a member of the firm, Stephenson, Matthews, Chavarri & Lambert, L.L.C. She worked as an attorney-advisor for the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of the Administrative Law Judge. Her areas of practice include immigration law, insurance defense, general business, international law, toxic tort/product liability defense, maritime, and litigation. Ms. Lambert was the Secretary of the International Law Section of the Louisiana State Bar Association from 1994 until 2001.  From 2001 until 2008, she was Vice-Chair of the International Law Section.  She authored "Rules for Licensing International Legal Consultants," which was adopted by the Louisiana Supreme Court and became effective July 1, 1996.
