Catherine I. Chávarri, a native of Virginia, is a 1990 graduate of Loyola Law School (New Orleans). She also studied in Madrid, Spain with Marshall-Wythe School of Law (William and Mary College). Her areas of practice include personal injury, criminal defense, insurance defense, immigration and international law. She is a panel attorney for the Federal Public Defender in the Eastern District of Louisiana. She is also qualified by the Administrative Offices of the United States Courts as a certified court interpreter for English-Spanish proceedings.
